Gear desync

This glitch desyncs your gear from the client and server, allows for some funky tech.

Your COM will only be offset if the gear has a mass!

How to do it

1. Have 2 tools in your hotbar.
2. Drop the second one by pressing Backspace.
3. Equip the first one.
4. Jump on top of the second tool and freeze.
5. While frozen, equip and unequip the first tool and unfreeze.
6. Equip and drop the first tool.

What happened?

Now, your tool will appear equipped for you, but not on the hotbar! It will have collisions.

You also offsetted your COM! Look into the explanation to understand what that affects.

From the server's side, the tool is on the ground, it's not for you though.

If another player equips that tool, you will notice that you're attached to his head. For the other player, it's nothing special, you do not change positions for him.

If the other player unequips the gear, you will teleport to him from the server's side!

Notes

• You can equip the second tool that's in your hotbar after you do this to stop moving weirdly/offset your COM more.
