Collisions

Understanding how collisions work in your character is essential for movement glitches and physics behavior.

R6

An R6 character consists of 6 body parts:

Head, Torso, Left Leg, Right Leg, Left Arm, Right Arm

Each part follows specific collision rules:

Body PartDefault CollisionCan Be Modified
HeadCollidable✅ Yes
TorsoCollidable⚠️ Partial
Left LegNot Collidable❌ No
Right LegNot Collidable❌ No
Left ArmNot Collidable❌ No
Right ArmNot Collidable❌ No
HumanoidRootPartNot Collidable❌ No

R15

R15 characters have more segmented body parts, but fewer collision modifications are possible:

Body PartDefault CollisionCan Be Modified
HeadNot Collidable❌ No
Upper TorsoCollidable⚠️ Partial
Lower TorsoCollidable⚠️ Partial
HumanoidRootPartCollidable❌ No
Left FootNot Collidable❌ No
Right FootNot Collidable❌ No
Left HandNot Collidable❌ No
Right HandNot Collidable❌ No
Left Lower LegNot Collidable❌ No
Right Lower LegNot Collidable❌ No
Left Upper LegNot Collidable❌ No
Right Upper LegNot Collidable❌ No
Left Lower ArmNot Collidable❌ No
Right Lower ArmNot Collidable❌ No
Left Upper ArmNot Collidable❌ No
Right Upper ArmNot Collidable❌ No

⚠️ Notes

  • On R6, head collision can be completely disabled using certain glitches.

  • On R6 and R15, torso collision behaves differently while jumping:

    • R6: Torso
    • R15: Upper + Lower Torso
  • In both cases, torso collisions are disabled during the Jumping state.
